Galaxy Quest

Have you ever seen that old movie with Tim Allen. Well among my family we love to quote a certain part of that movie. They say " Never Give Up, Never Surrender". I was trying to relate that to this life. How we all face trials and challenges in our lives and sometimes we feel like we should just give up. It seems that there is no end. The key word, as hard as it may seem, is patience. There is always something to learn in the trials that we face. There have been times I really felt like giving up I mean what is the point I will never get it done. Then I remember why not, why can't I? We all have power to accomplish anything in our paths because we are literally children of God and you can't beat that you know! So remember as you go throughout your day you can do it. "Never Give Up, Never Surrender"!!!

Come Listen to a Prophet's Voice

Recently we had general conference where the prophet gave us counsel to show more gratitude. Not only towards those that help us but to our Heavenly Father as well.President Thomas S. Monson said,

“Sincerely giving thanks not only helps us recognize our blessings, but it also unlocks the doors of heaven and helps us feel God’s love.”

It reminds me of a great scripture, Proverbs 3:5-6

5¶ Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

6In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

I can tell you that there are things to be grateful for I have many blessings in my life even though sometimes I fail to recognize them. I think we all need to slow down and see the great things that are going for us in our lives.

A Father Indeed

Yesterday I got the chance to go out to the country it was so awesome. The beautiful landscape as far as the eye could see. There were animals everywhere running free. I could see signs of God everywhere. It was just more proof to me of how much our Heavenly Father loves us. He has given us this beautiful world to live in, sure the world may be heading in the wrong direction. Howevshould be grateful, we are children of God and no matter who you are He loves you!!! Just like any er, our Father is watching over us he loves us wants the best for us and has given us the best. We good father does. That is why I love this video. This Father shows us one of the qualities of our Heavenly Father LOVE.

Infinite Power of Hope

We all need a little bit of strength in our life. Hope is what can help us through every trial. President Uchtdorf gives great advice to all of us who could use a little hope. We can all be filled with a greater hope be strong and don't give up. There is always HOPE!!

Come and See

Those that followed Christ when He first began his ministry told those who doubted "Come and See". That is how Christ always has worked, He taught us that by their fruits shall we know them. That is our simple invitation come and see. See if we can help you find hope in a world deprived of it. God loves us we are His children. Heavenly Father wants us to seek him out and when we do He has promised that He will answer.
